Each Kill the Robot rock cardio workout music CD features:
- Ten instrumental tracks that are 100% instrumental, 100% tempo-accurate, and 100% KICK-ASS!
- A 30-minute Kill the Robot track, with all ten individual songs seamlessly joined together. This is useful for older iPods or devices that insert a pause between tracks. This track also features an introduction with a countdown to allow time to get your cardio machine set up.
- All ten individual tracks start and end on a beat, so you can drop these tracks into your existing playlists or cardo workout music programs with no gaps between songs.
These tracks were crafted by musicians, for musicians, and for everyone who loves rock as we do and won't settle for anything less. Created by real people playing real instruments as a high-powered guitar alternative to synths and drum machines.

The Gymrattz Collective was formed to fill a simple need: Create original rock music to be listened to while working out, in particular, while completing the cardio portion of our workouts.
After an exhaustive search on the internet for rock workout music that was original, instrumental and had predictable tempos, it became clear that there was very little available. In fact, this project was started because we were not able to find any at all.
So, in March 2006, work was started on a workout CD that would set the stage for an entire series of rock cardio music: Kill the Robot! Volume 1 (anti-techno slur intended). When we were finished, we found ourselves with a collection of cardio workout music that offered everything we felt a true rock workout CD should offer: real guitars, real basses and real drums, played by real people who could really play.
As always, our goal is simple: The Gymrattz Collective is committed to helping you get the most from your cardio workout.
We love to hear from our friends! Help us help you. We want to know what you want to hear. Tell us what songs work, what songs don't, and why. Let us know what tempos get you moving. And lastly, let us know how we can improve our website. We respond to every email we receive, so don't be shy.
